ZANESVILLE – Cohagen – Gibson graciously agreed to be “pied in the pace” to demonstrate that BBBS is a fun place to volunteer and get involved with.

“She was nominated by Jamie Trout to kind of support Big Brothers Big Sisters. We’re trying to show everybody that being in our program is fun. So, this is just kind of a fun way to get people interested in becoming a little (or) becoming a big. We have a lot of programs available virtually and pen pal programs so we appreciate that April stepped up and did this for us and we appreciate all of the support that we get in the community,” BBBS’ Executive Director Jenni Masterson said.

The campaign will continue as Cohagen – Gibson nominated two candidates to be “pied” next.

“I would like to do a special call out to two gentlemen I think the world of, the first being Dr. Chad Brown, President of Zane State College and Associate Professor and Program Director of the Criminal Justice Program at Zane State, Mr. John Gibson. Both of those gentlemen do a great deal of work for the community. They give back and I think they’re going to have great pleasure when I get to deliver the pie to both of them,” Cohagen – Gibson said.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is offering its “pen-pal” program due to COVID which allows for bigs and littles to write back and forth to each other.
