MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-The Muskingum County Library System has an emerging technologies branch.
The branch helps with technological services that members may need assistance with. Emerging Technologies assistant Jazmyn Tabler has more information on what the branch entails.
“ I help assist people with technology that’s out now or new, emerging technology. Mostly what I do right now is help people with phones. We have our online services, and do online programs and just share new online technology with our community.”
Programs include lessons on how to run computers and navigate websites. The available lessons are easy to aces both in person and online.
“Right now our building is open two to six and we are here and people can come in. I am here fr9om nine to six and people can always call in and get tech help that way. So we can work over the phone and see if we can help you with stuff. You can also go on our website at muskingumlibrary.org. Under find it there is a tech help section and you can fill out a form and get help that way.”
Appointments can also be scheduled over the phone or online to meet with the Library’s tech help.
