JACKSONTOWN, Ohio–The Ohio Department of Transportation announced the following upcoming projects taking place in Muskingum County.
Interstate 70 resurfacing between State Route 93 and U.S. Route 22/40 (exit 164) – Resurfacing project on I-70 between SR 93 and US 22/40. Motorists can expect nightly lane closures between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. for resurfacing. Completion date is Fall 2020.
- New impacts: The I-70 WB rest area will close for one month beginning Monday, July 27.
State Route 666 bridge replacement north of Zanesville – SR 666 is scheduled to close for bridge replacement between Culbertson Road and Gilbert Road. SR 666 will be closed for an estimated 21 days. Estimated project completion is Fall 2020.
- New impacts: Start date has been revised. SR 666 is scheduled to close for 21 days on Monday, August 3.
