MUSKINGUM – They will both re-open on July 8th. The Museum Assocation of East Muskingum is working with the owners of the museums, Ohio History Connection, on a re-opening plan.

“We’re always anxious to open the museums for the season, but, this year, its our priority to keep people as safe as we possibly can so we have been working with Ohio History Connection which owns museums to come up with an opening plan where we’ll have all of the proper protocol in place,” Museum Association of East Muskingum’s Debbie Allender said.

Both museums will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM Wednesday through Saturday.

“We are going to require masks for everyone and we will have masks available for those who need them and, of course, we’re going to be doing lots of hand washing, sanitizing, cleaning of touch surfaces, and, of course, restrooms too,” Allender said.

Admission to both facilities is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $3 for students.
