Drugs, money found in Somerset home; sheriff says

PERRY CO., Ohio (WHIZ) – The Perry County Sheriff’s Office seized large amounts of heroin, methamphetamine, an assault rifle, money and drug packaging/manufacturing equipment from a home in Somerset Tuesday evening.

After a narcotics search of the home on the 7000 block of Wesley Chapel Road, Sheriff William Barker says 39-year-old Richard White, of Somerset, was taken into custody on felony drug and weapons charges.

White is being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
