ZANESVILLE – The outing is scheduled for July 17th at the Zanesville Jaycees Golf Course. Money raised will go to benefit programs at the center that has recently re-opened.
“Of course, we have been closed for COVID and now that we are re-opening we can certainly use the community’s support for these services. We serve children who need help with speech and those clients are seen upstairs here at our center and certainly that program has been up and running for about two weeks now so the kids are back in the center, receiving services, and just really getting those kids ready for kindergarten and their life ahead,” Carr Center Executive Director Becky Clawson said.
There are spots for golfers who are looking to have a good time for a good cause.
“Well, its a really easy way to support your community and if you enjoy golf and the outdoors, certainly a fun way to spend a Friday without staff here at the Carr Center and some local businesses around town so you can meet our staff and hear more about what we do and we’ll be glad to talk to you that day about where your money is going,” Clawson said.
Anyone interested in golfing can find information on the Carr Center’s website or by calling the organization’s office. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to compete.
