ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Tickets for the 7th annual Follies Family show are now on sale.
The show will take place March 28 at Secrest Auditorium and is titled, “100 Years of Sweet Music.” President of the Follies Family, Charlotte Snider says the show will include local dance and music groups.
“Follies is a labor of love for many people in our community. All of the proceeds from this benefit goes to Genesis Hospice patients in financial need. These individuals may need emotional help, spiritual help and definitely medical help. Nursing care, supplies, bandages, maybe payment for their co-pays so they can get the care they need at end of life.”
The show has donated over $150,000 within the past six years.
“We draw from a lot of the wonderful talent that’s right here in Zanesville and the surrounding area. We have wonderful people who come back year-after-year to participate. They generally come back because they’ve experienced hospice in some way. A family member, a friend, they know the benefit and how much hospice helps individuals at that time of their lives.”
Tickets for the show can be purchased at the auditorium on Schinnick Street or on their website. Presale ticket prices range between $10 to $15 and tickets at the door range from $15 to $20.
Show times are at 2:30 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 28.
