ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Some Zanesville-area teenagers and tweens participated in an event Saturday at John McIntire Library to make their own personalized bag of chocolates for Valentine’s Day.
“The gift comes from the heart and you can’t just go out to the store and buy it. You can buy the ingredients, but I think it’s just important to give them the gift from the heart and tell them you love them,” says Alexis Watts, who showed up to give chocolate-making a shot.
The event was organized for tweens (ages 10-12) and teens (13-18) to participate. The library staff says the event focused on crafts and hobbies, arts and culture.
