ZPD Investigating Friday Afternoon Bank Robbery

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a Friday afternoon bank robbery. Chief Tony Coury says a white male suspect entered the Chase Bank—located on 5th and Main Streets—at around 4:30 PM. He told those inside the bank that he had a weapon. After handing the teller a note, the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached if seen.
