New Lexington elementary students learning about STEM

NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio— Students at New Lexington Elementary are learning about the importance of STEM which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

New Lexington Elementary is partnering with McDonald’s Restaurant to help K- 5 students understand the role STEM activities play all around them in their daily lives .

A special presentation was held Friday where students were visited by a live robot and School Principal Greg Grant addressed the school to introduce a month’s worth of activities that are about to kick off every other Friday .

As a special treat for the students, McDonald’s provided 460 Happy Meals that included a toy robot.
