ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Residents at Primrose Retirement Center opened their doors Sunday for a holiday open house.
The day was filled with Christmas cookies, music and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The Sales Director for the center Cindy Clark says they wanted to do something that would bring people together.
“To kick off the holiday season and bring family and friends together. I just thought it would be something different and — again it got us decorated early so now we can enjoy the holiday season. “
Visitors had plenty to enjoy, including cookie decorating and carriage rides.
“We have entertainment, Dr. Laura Schuman is here with refreshments and upstairs we have Santa and Mrs. Claus. They’re decorating cookies with the children. And I can’t forget the carriage rides that are taking place outside. “
Some residents even welcomed visitors into their own homes for tours.
