Alleged River View High School Threat Not Valid

WARSAW, Ohio- Authorities in Coshocton County are investigating an alleged threat that was potentially made by a River View High School Student. Captain Dean Hettinger, with the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, says authorities were notified of a rumor that a student threatened to bring a firearm to school. Following a preliminary investigation and questioning, the alleged threat is not believed to be valid and one student has been suspended. Law enforcement presence was provided at River View High School today as a precaution. The incident remains under investigation.
