ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The John McIntire Library is discussing renovations and they are looking for the public’s help in the planning.
The Muskingum County Library System representatives and architects will be on hand to see what the public wants in the library. M-C-L-S Marketing and Community Relations Director, Sean Fennell said the public input is important in successfully planning the renovations.
“This will be an opportunity for community members to voice their opinions and have discussions with the architects and with staff members from the library to really figure out what we want the library to be like after the renovation,” said Fennell.
Fennell said they are at the very beginning stages of planning the renovation, but believes this meeting will go a long way in helping out.
Fennell added, “The library is here to serve the public and reflect the community that we serve. It is critical that we have direct input from our community about how they want our library to be because ultimately the public library is open to all and is for our community. To best serve our community, we need to hear from the people that we serve.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 15th, from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the John McIntire Library.
