ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Several bands are set to take the stage Saturday at The Barn on Linden Ave. in Zanesville.

“This weekend, starting at noon on Saturday, we have the third annual breakout bash. We have five bands playing. We have five bands playing; we’ve got John & Hannah Moore, the Potentials, we’ve got Grounded, Sharwall, and finally The Steve Spires Band that will kind of anchor the show. Super-excited, it’s going to be twelve hours of awesome music. Some of the most popular bands in town are going to be playing down here,” Jim Watson, Owner of The Barn, tells WHIZ News.

It’s the third year for the Breakout Bash.

“It’s an event to raise awareness for mental illness, addiction, autism, all that sorts of stuff; to give out information on how to handle things like if a family member has these issues or a loved one. It’s also to have a good time, maybe to raise a little bit of money toward NAMI so they can continue to do everything they do for the community,” says Anthony Hannan, Co-Event Coordinator.
