HEBRON, Ohio – A family owned farm is offering fun activities for the community to enjoy for their opening day this weekend.
Van Buren Acres is opening to the public on Saturday at 10 a.m. to kick off the Fall season. The entire family can enjoy taking pictures with the farm animals, and all the activities they have to offer including hay-rides, pig races, pumpkin picking, and a 10-acre corn maze. The corn maze even has a special moon landing theme this year.
“We have a 10-acre corn maze that’s based off the Apollo landing. So you can go in there and you can do a boot camp where you can do a mission to the moon boot camp. You can do fun activities through one of the mazes or the other maze you can just go and get lost,” said Mark Van Buren, Co-owner of Van Buren Acres.
Van Buren Acres gives kids the chance to learn more about agriculture while also creating special memories with the family.
“Come out, be outside, have fun. 40 years ago when I was kid we played outside a lot. And we wanted to do something at the farm to bring kids back to the farm to see the agriculture,” said Van Buren.
Van Buren Acres is located in Hebron, the season runs until November 3rd. For more information on the Farm and their special events, you can visit their website, www.vanburenacres.com.
