Food Truck Fundraiser for the United Way

Local News

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The United Way is preparing for a fun and unique fundraiser happening this Friday, here in Zanesville.

The local United Way will be holding a food truck fundraiser to raise money for the organization. Local United Way Executive Director, Meg Deedrick said there will be several food trucks in the area and a portion of their earnings will be given back to the United Way.

“We are going to have a series of food trucks both downtown. So, if you are on the southern part of the county, you can come to the central part of downtown, right by the courthouse, there on Fifth Street and come get lunch at a food truck. Or, you can go up north in the Walmart parking lot and they will have some food trucks there as well, but all of these folks are going to partner with us to make the community better,” said Deedrick.

Deedrick said some of the food trucks that will be participating are Domino’s, Pucky’s, Rittberger’s, Troy Boyz, and Yardbirds.

“Through the partnership with these wonderful vendors, they’re giving us a portion of the proceeds. So, all you need to do to support the goals that we have for the community, is just show up and eat lunch. You can either go downtown or go North in the North Walmart parking lot but some may do both,” said Deedrick.
