ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Zanesville Concert Association volunteers met Sunday evening to discuss the upcoming concert season.

The volunteers gathered at the Grace United Methodist Church to talk about the 81st season of the Zanesville Concert Association. This association provides world-class entertainment to the community with four shows people are able to enjoy. All concerts are held at the Secrest Auditorium. Youth ages 18 and under, also college students are all admitted free. Adults are also able to obtain an adult membership that is valid for all the season’s events for only $65. President of the Zanesville Concert Association, Christine Shaw said this is all made possible through a team effort.

“That all is possible because of our volunteer board and our foundation. And members and supporters, advertisers. We really need those folks to keep and support our organization, that’s what keeps us going,” she said.

The 2019-2020 season will feature shows such as War Bonds: The Songs and Letters of World War II in October. Music City Christmas takes place in December. American Spiritual Ensemble and National Symphony Orchestra of the Ukraine are both in February.

“This is our 81st season and we bring world famous artists, that’s the number one criteria for being a part of the Zanesville Concert Association,” said ZCA Booking Agent, Jim McLaughlin.

“It’s a wonderful blessing for children cause they get in free. And to actually have just seen it on youtube, what about seeing it live in Zanesville, Secrest Auditorium,” he added.
