ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Thursday night is your chance to go out to eat for dinner and do your part for the community.
United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties is teaming up with Noodles and Company on Maple Avenue Thursday night, August 8th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Purchase a meal at Noodles and Company and 10% of all proceeds go to United Way.
“And so one of the easiest ways they can chip in is to just go to a restaurant and eat out one night and that supports the United Way. And so we just want to make it as easy as possible for people to give back to the community,” said United Way Resource Development Director, Kyle Dunn.
United Way uses the proceeds from events like to this to continue their fight for the health, education, and financial stability for the people of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties.
“Those funds will go into the programs and to the initiatives that we fund and that we work with to fight for the health, education, financial stability of every person in our community,” Dunn stated.
The campaign season for United Way is coming up in the Fall. The kickoff event is on September 13th with food trucks set up at the Walmart parking lot and 5th Street beside the Court House.
