ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The community is invited to take part in an event that will help raise money for two local non profit organizations.
The Muskingum County Community Foundation Council is hosting a dueling pianos event at Bryan Place in Downtown Zanesville this Friday, August 2nd. The event will offer lots of interactive, high energy, and fun entertainment for guests. And a dinner special will also be available.
“It’s a lot of fun. If you’ve never been to a dueling pianos event it is very interactive. It’s going to be about a 3 hour show where individuals can go up and put tips in the tip jar, and those funds will go back towards the two non profits. Then it’s kind of a duel between the two pianos, and very interactive with the crowd,” said MCCF Council President, Lisa Karling.
All the proceeds from the event will be used to support the Animal Shelter Society and Transitions.
“So Council puts on the Groundhog Day celebration on each year, and those proceeds benefit the Spring Grant competition. So we were trying to find another way to help area non profits benefit from proceeds from events that we can do. So this is another event that we decided to put on to help raise money. And the two organizations, Transitions and the Animal Shelter Society, are the two that Council decided to choose the proceeds to go towards,” said Karling.
Tickets are $30 and are available to purchase on the Muskingum County Community Foundation’s website, www.mccf.org.
