ZANESVILLE, Ohio – ForeverDads In Zanesville recently received a grant from the Ohio Commission of Fatherhood.

ForeverDads is an organization that promotes fathers having quality relationships with their kids and more. ForeverDads Executive Director, Burl Lemon said the grant wants them to provide services to over 200 men, and he added they have always exceeded that performance request.

“Well, we encourage, educate, and equip men to develop positive relationships with their children, family, and community. We are a nonprofit organization that is funded through grants, private donors, and fundraising projects that we do,” Lemon said.

The grant awarded to the ForeverDads organization was for $260,000. Lemon said the money will go a long way in funding programs and it means a lot to be recognized for a state funded grant.

“I’ve never seen anything that could greater validate the quality of who we are and the integrity of our organization than for us to be able to receive funding from the state of Ohio that says you guys do it well,” Lemon added.

Burl Lemon said his team is really committed and engaged in the organization, and if you would like to learn more about forever dads, visit
