ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Concert of Love will be hosting a benefit for Emma Barry next weekend who was in a car accident back in December 2018.
Emma Barry’s accident led to her sustaining traumatic brain injury, medical complications, and several other injuries. The event will help raise funds to help the Barry family with the cost of Emma’s continued care.
Benefit Organizer, Chad Stemm, said, “And she does have a traumatic brain injury so I am not sure what her future prognoses holds but she is home and definitely needs some support.” Christy Rahrig, another organizer for the benefit, added, “Any amount will help. There is not set goal. Whatever we can raise for Emma Barry and her family, that is what we’ll give.”
The event will be on Saturday, July 6th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Zanesville Community Theatre. If you come to the concert be sure to wear your best beach gear.
Stemm stated, “This, and like I said, this will be our third year and so we actually choose a member of the community and hold a benefit concert for them.” Stemm added, “A lot of theater. A lot of local theater people, musicians. So we will have a live band, people singing. It’s a full two hour concert, and we just come together and pick a theme, and we sing.”
