ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Are you looking for a new furry addition to your family? The Animal Shelter Society will be at Petsmart for Kitten Kraze Friday and Saturday.

Cats adoption fees will be by donation, and Animal Shelter Society Interim Director, Russell Denny said there will be 15 cats to choose from. Friday night they will be at Petsmart from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while Saturday they will be there from 12:00 PM till 3:00 PM. One of the cats that will be there tonight and tomorrow, is Cooper, An 11-week-old male with quite a personality.

“This is Cooper. He is 11-weeks-old. He came from a foster family. Fosters are a great thing for us because the cat is socialized, good with other animals, good with cats, good family pet and he is neutered and ready to go,” Denny said.

Russell Denny also said that the Animal Shelter Society is looking for sponsors and more players for their 1st annual Putt 4 Paws Golf Outing.

“Our golf outing is July 20th, if you want to be a sponsor please get a hold of us. We have many opportunities for you to sponsor. It’s a great opportunity to help raise some funds for the shelter and just have a great time,” Denny added.

Denny said with fourth of July right around the corner, make sure you take care of your pets and comfort them from the sound of fireworks and loud noises.
