ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It was a day full of fun Saturday at the James Singer Activity Center at Coopermill Manor.
The Residential Council of Coopermill Manor had a block party Saturday for the community and the residents. Residential Council President, Loretta Moore says there was all kinds of games, live music, and delicious food for everyone to enjoy.
“We have free food, desserts, drinks, juices for the children. We have all kinds of games, as you’ll see we have different games set up behind Careytown Day Care Center. Inside the gym, here at the manor’s James D Singer Gym, We are having Christian music. We have Christian rap, Christian country, and we have a Christian rock band coming,” Moore said.
Moore said this is the first Coopermill Manor block party, but hopes if this year goes well, it will become an annual event.
“We would like to do this every year about this time around June. Just to do it every year and every year we want to grow bigger and invite people down for the event. Like I said, it is only donation only, everything is free. Every year we want to add something new to the event,” Moore added.
Moore wants to thank the sponsors and everyone that showed up to enjoy the event this afternoon.
