ZANESVILLE, Ohio– This evening at the Zanesville High School, the Ohio Flags of Honor was held to recognize the three hundred and one Ohioans who have been lost in action.
All three hundred and one names of fallen soldiers were called out during the ceremony to show that they are never forgotten, and that they are still impacting our lives to this day. A handful of city members came out today including the Muskingum County Sheriff, Matt Lutz.
Muskingum County Sheriff, Matt Lutz, said, “This ceremony was a reminder for us to not forget the cost of freedom”.

Lutz added, “We are very fortunate in this country that we get to do things everyday that we enjoy to do, and if it wasn’t for the men and women who died in this country we wouldn’t be able to do that”.
