ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Five artists have their work on display at the Masonic Temple in downtown Zanesville, for artist of the month with the Artist Colony of Zanesville.
The art work has a variety of different techniques such as photography, paintings, mixed media, oils and numerous others . The five artists are RoseMary Ludt, Jack Hunt, Crystal Fuller, Melissa Maxwell, and B.J Taylor. Artist, RoseMary Ludt said it’s an honor to be one of the artist of the month, and looks forward to showing off her work.
“Well, it’s really exciting and I hope a lot of people will come out and find our gallery and see what we do. Ludt continued to say “I do oil, acrylic, pastel, and dabble in several different media.
Meanwhile, Artist Jack Hunt uses photographs and editing tools. He sometimes will even merge a painting and a photograph together. He said since he was little, he knew art was what he wanted to do.
“I’m a photographer and a painter. I do mixed media painting and photography and I do digital art.” Hunt added “I’ve just been interested in art ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. So, it really wasn’t a decision, it just happened.”
