ZANESVILLE , Ohio – If you’re looking for something family friendly to do in Downtown Zanesville, the Downtown Farmers Market will be an option starting Wednesday, June 5th.
Every Wednesday, from June until August there will be live music, local art, and foods available on 4th Street. General Manager of Urban Comforts Eatery David Jacobs said it will be a great time to get out and enjoy what local businesses have to offer.
“We will be purchasing product from the Farmers Market and doing Farm the Table the day of the market,” Jacobs said. “Come support your local farmers and of course Urban Comfort.”
The Wayfarers will be playing live music throughout the evening. There will be local art avails from Gallery Luminaria, Masonic Temple and The Art Loft. Local vendors will be providing fresh produce and there will also be farm to table specials from the Old Market Inn and Vin Ami.
“It’s very important because without the community you wouldn’t be in business. The community supports you and you support them. I mean again, without the community you have nothing and Zanesville is very very big community people. Very big,” Jacobs said.
The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. starting at the Masonic Temple going all the way to Market Street. If you would like to learn more about Urban Comforts Eatery, head to their website.
