The Columbia Gas outage continues to affect residents in the south end of Zanesville.
The gas company said so far they’ve restored service to 377 customers in the north and south zones.
Columbia Gas said homes must be inspected before service can be restored to them. During the inspection crews will make simple repairs and if a repair is more extensive they’ll disconnect the affected appliance and schedule an appointment to fix the issue.
Columbia Gas asks that residents leave their porch light on if gas service is off. An adult 18 or over must be home to allow workers to restore service. If you plan to leave your home, leave your contact information with a neighbor.
