American Electric Power announced Friday that it is waiting for the “all clear” from Columbia Gas to turn power back on for customers who lost service Thursday. AEP says it continues to put the safety of customers and crews first. “We stand ready to get power flowing again as soon as it is safe to do so” reported American Electric Power. Power service was cut to around 600 customers in the south end of Zanesville after a service issue developed for Columbia Gas customers on Thursday.
