ZANESVILLE, Ohio – For the first time ever, the Zanesville Farmers Market is available during the Springtime.

It will be starting this Saturday, March, 9th to April 27th at Weasel Boy Brewing Company. Board Member Jessica Stonecypher said there will be some new things the community can expect to see.

“We’re going to have some mushrooms, some coffee, you can buy coffee beans but also you can just get a fresh cup of coffee while you’re in here. We’ll have our normal vendors meats, cheeses, other kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables as well,” Stonecypher said.

The Fall Farmers Market was such a success that the board decided to add this opportunity. Stonecypher said the farmers market is a great way to bring the community together.

“It’s a great place for folks to gather, to meet new people but also to catch up with folks they’ve known for a long time. It’s a great way to exchange currency, whether that’s social currency but also money in hand. We’re getting local money to local people, local farmers and local families who work very hard,” Stonecypher said.

The Farmers Market will be open on Saturday’s from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you are interested in learning more about the market you can head to their website.
