A well known area dentist has died. 86-year-old Ralph Cater practiced dentistry for over 50 years. He was a people person and enjoyed joking around with his patients. He retired in 2010. Cater was a member of the Zanesville Noon Rotary club for 50 years and was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow. His favorite hobbies with his family were fishing, boating and woodworking. Friends and family may call Saturday, February 16th from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Crematory at 1271 Blue Avenue in Zanesville.
