ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties has released information for their 2019-2020 funding cycle.
Community Impact Director Becky Clawson said they will host a Facebook live meeting for potential applicants on February 25th at 2 p.m. to go over the funding process and time line. Clawson said they are looking to partner with groups that support the three pillars of the United Way.
“United Way invests in three pillars; health, education, and financial stability,” said Clawson. “So we’re looking for partnerships to meet the goals that we have for the community.”
Clawson said they know the United Way can not meet every need in the community and by partnering with other organizations they will be able to make a larger impact.
“Donors entrust us with their hard-earned dollars and what we’re looking to do is spend those in a way that makes a larger impact in our community,” said Clawson.
Clawson said any organization interested in funding needs to be tax exempt or a 501-c organization. She said after the meeting interested groups will need to submit a letter of intent by March 1st and that applications will be due by the end of March. Clawson said more information about the meeting and application process can be found on their website.
