Neon Mini Golf Event At John McIntire Library

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Families had a great time playing mini golf at the John McIntire Library today.

Neon mini golf was offered to the community, anyone of all ages could attend. This is the first time for the mini golf event at the John McIntire Library. Kids could play up to six different holes, and spend quality time with friends and family.

“Especially in the winter time when the kids have been cooped up in the house with all the snow days, it’s good to get out and be able to do something like this,” said John McIntire Assistant Librarian for Youth Services, Jennifer Heston.

Heston explained why they were inspired to create the mini golf event.

“A lot of libraries have been trying new things to bring in families. They’re free, fun events. We try to connect with the community to offer different things for all ages,” she said.

The Neon Mini Golf Event took place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
