ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Colony Square Mall wants members of the community to know that they are now starting their holiday hours.
Every year in December they expand the hours of the mall, to give shoppers more of an opportunity to get what they need. Kevin Pinson, Marketing and Special Leasing Representative at Colony Square Mall, said the hours get longer as we make our way through the holiday season.
“The customers kind of ask for it. There’s a lot of folks who put it off till the last minute so they want to come out and get those last minute deals in and do some late night shopping so we try to accommodate,” Pinson said.
He said a lot of people would expect Black Friday to be the busiest day of the holiday season but it is actually the Saturday before Christmas. To avoid not getting all of the items on your list he recommends shopping ahead of time.
“If you’re an impatient person like me, you don’t want to wait till the last minute,” Pinson said. “The best time to come out is when we first open or later in the evening before we close. That’s when the crowds are the smallest.”
Children also still have the opportunity to write a letter to Santa Clause or take pictures with him. You can find more information about the mall hours and Santa’s hours on their website.
