ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Strategic plan of the Catholic schools in Zanesville will be presented tonight at the State of the School Address at Bishop Rosecrans High School.
Bishop Fenwick and Bishop Rosecrans school staff created a strategic planning committee consisted of 25 people to focus on the future of the Catholic schools. Their plan will take place over the next three years.
“Over the last five months we have been working on creating a strategic plan for the future of our schools. We did a leadership redesign over the summer, and with that we have now been able to concentrate on where we want to take our schools, our pre-K-12 system over the next three years,” said Executive Director of the Catholic Schools of Zanesville, Kelly Sagan.
The schools are focused on three areas; academics, student experience, and marketing and development. Sagan said they want to establish a Catholic environment where all students are active in their school along with providing a learning curriculum with 21rst century learning opportunities.
“It’s just open to anybody that has any interest in our future. We’re here to stay, we’re not going anywhere, we’re just here to build,” she said.
If you want to get involved with the Catholic schools, volunteer to be on the committee by calling either the Bishop Rosecrans or Bishop Fenwick school office.
