Task force seizes drugs New Straitsville

PERRY COUNTY, Ohio – According to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, September 21, 2018, agents with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force were assisted by law enforcement officials from the Perry and Hocking County Sheriff’s Offices as well as the New Straitsville Police Department – executed a search warrant at the address of 305 Davis Street in the Village of New Straitsville.

Task Force Agents seized methamphetamine, drug packaging equipment and currency from the residence. Three (3) persons were arrested at the scene. Their names are not being released at this time pending further investigation.

On Thursday – September 27, 2018, CODE Task Force Agents executed a second search warrant at 119 East Main Street / Straitsville, Ohio. Drug Agents seized several firearms, US currency drug paraphernalia items, drug packaging equipment and bulk quantities of heroin. Two (2) people were arrested at this scene however their names are also not being released pending further investigation.

Task Force agents were assisted by Perry County Sheriff’s Deputies and the New Straitsville Police. Below are photographs released regarding the two (2) drug raids.
