Deaths At Lost Lands Music Festival

The deaths of two individuals who attended the Lost Lands Music Festival in Licking County are under investigation.

The concert took place at Legend Valley.

Emergency medical personnel on sight responded to assist both individuals who were reported to be unresponsive.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office said on Saturday at 3:20am, 24-year-old Ger Vang of Hickory, North Carolina was pronounced dead at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Then just after midnight on Sunday, 31-year-old Mario Symborski, of Pontiac, Michigan was also pronounced dead at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Autopsies have been performed by the Licking County Coroner’s Office. The cause of death is pending toxicology reports.

It’s estimated 40,000 people attended the four day festival.
