COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio- UPDATED NEWS RELEASE: According to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, on July 28th, 2018 at 12:02 am the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call in reference to a missing juvenile in the area of County Road 495, just off US 36.
On July 28 and 29, 2018 the search continued for Samuel J Walters age 15 in the area of US 36 and Cr 495. During the investigation it was learned the last known location of “Sam” Walters is believed to be near a pond in the area. From the investigation it was learned there was a fisherman at this same location that may have information helpful to the investigation. The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is urging this unknown person to contact Det. Stone at 740-291-2937 or 740-622-2411.

Search and Rescue Coshocton County REACT Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team and K-9 Unit Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Unit ODNR Holmes County Dive Team Coshocton County EMS Dellroy Fire Department K-9 Unit Medflight of Coshocton Salvation Army As of today the investigation continues and the search for Sam Walters is ongoing. A family representative said that they are actively searching for Walters and asks who would like to volunteer to help search meet at the A1 Veterinary Clinic at 46809 Co Rd 495, Coshocton, OH 43812 near U.S. 36.
