Game booths draw crowds at Muskingum County Fair

Local News Stories

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Could it be luck or skill when it comes down to winning that huge stuffed animal the game booths at the fair?

With just two days left, locals will have to find out for themselves!

WHIZ stopped by the Tub game booth, and talked with carnival worker, Chris Wells. He said he enjoys his job, because he gets to feel like his favorite game show host everyday that he works.

“Just interacting with people, you feel like a game show host…like Bob Barker, said Wells. Come on down. You just get to have fun.”

Wells has only been a carnival worker for about three months, but wants to continue this as a career. He said seeing the kids win the big prizes, makes it all worth it.

“You just get to celebrate with them, they just love it. I don’t have small prizes. When they win the huge ones, they just love showing them off, and they’re going to have them for years.”

Saturday is the last day to attend the Muskingum County Fair.
