ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Employees of Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill and The Barn are joining together to organize for Ana’s Memorial Jam this Sunday January 29, 2017 starting at 11:00 A.M.

Six-year-old Anastasia Zink passed away on January 11, 2017 when her mother 27-year-old Stephanie Williams lost control of her vehicle due to icy roadways. Williams vehicle rolled down an 85 feet embankment off of Fultonrose road. Following the accident Williams’ co-workers at Tumbleweed decided to contact The Barn so they could hold a memorial party.

“When we first found out about it, you know, it hurt us all pretty bad,” Kristen Hugebeck Tumbleweed Employee said. “After a couple of days we just decided we needed to get something going to help raise money for her.”

“The people just coming into the restaurant that didn’t even know [Stephanie Williams,] but had heard about it and was like ‘how do I get involved, I want to help,” Tumbleweed Employee, Hallie Tigner said. “We have people going out and handing out flyers. Like everyone’s really been so available to help in any way that they can. Just to try to do their part to make this all happen and come together.”

Ana’s Memorial Jam will be this Sunday January 29, 2017 starting at 11:00 A.M. at The Barn. They’ll have music entertainment by Wesley Chapman, Matt Frampton, Dwayne Wade, Levi Jameson, Fello, Steve Spires, and Ol’ Dirty Strangers. A 50/50 raffle, t-shirts, along with food and beverages will also be offered.

According to a co-worker of Williams’ Chelsey Kelly, the Tumbleweed employees started this support process by creating a Go Fund Me account for Williams and her eight-year-old daughter, Ella Zink to help pay for their medical bills.

“The donations now are more to help not only her family have extra time for grieving, but at the end of the day [Stephanie Williams] who is an amazing mom still has an eight-year-old to take care of,” said Kelly. “So we just want to make this transition as easy as we can, because she is such an amazing person and she would do it for us in a heart beat.”

To provide donations after the Memorial jam go to either Tumbleweed or The Barn. Williams’ co-workers will also be joining the Newton Township Fire Department on February 26th from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in the afternoon for a spaghetti dinner in Memory of Anastasia  Zink.
