Registration for Salvation Army Christmas basket begins October 17th

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is gearing up for their annual Christmas basket giveaway.

They will start accepting applications starting October 17th through October 21st at the Salvation Army located on Putnam Avenue.

“Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m., Thursday is our long day 10 a.m. to 7 p.m, for those that can’t here during the day, and Friday back to 10 a.m. to 3 p.m,” Women’s Auxiliary, President, Susan Stotts said.

Stotts said families with newborns or children 12 years old or younger can apply for toy and Christmas food baskets. Families with older children or no children at all can still apply for the food basket. If even your family just consist of one person you can apply of the food basket.

“People will need to bring their picture id, social security number for everyone in the household, monthly income information for your household, and a list of your monthly bills,” Stotts said.
