Additional State Funds Awarded to Zane State

Local News

State Senator Troy Balderson (R-Zanesville) announced today that the state will invest more than $125,000 for costs related to the Zane State College Health Sciences Repurpose Space Project.

The funds will go toward projects at both the Zanesville and Cambridge campuses in Muskingum and Guernsey counties. The Advanced Science and Technology Center on the Zanesville Campus and the Paul R. Brown EPIC Center on the Cambridge Campus will benefit from the space improvements.

Due to the construction of these two facilities, the college has a need to repurpose space in existing, older buildings in order to maximize efficiency.

“This project will help enhance the quality of education for Zane State College students,” Balderson said in a press release. "It is important that we make smart investments that provide the necessary environment to excel in the classroom and beyond."

Faculty and staff will be relocated to the new Advanced Science and Technology Center and Paul R. Brown EPIC Center once the renovation project is completed.
