A Cambridge man who pleaded guilty to killing a pizza delivery driver was sentenced Friday by a 3 judge panel in Guernsey County. Prosecutor Dan Padden says 32-year-old Adam Burris received life in prison with no chance for parole for 38-years. Padden says on the aggravated murder charge Burris received life in prison. On the counts of rape and aggravated robbery he got eight years each. And finally on the charge of grand theft Burris received 18 months. He was charged in the death of 26-year-old Kayla Thompson, who did not return from a delivery to his Cambridge home on December 26th, 2013. Authorities say Burris later led them to Thompsonâ€™s body at Dillon State Park. The three Judge panel was made up of Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill, Guernsey County Common Please Judge David Ellwood and Perry County Common Pleas Judge Linton Lewis.
