9 Arrested In Perry County Drug Operation

The Perry County Sheriff Office says it got tough on drugs Monday.  Lt. Kevin Starrett says his deputies along with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force conducted a drug interdiction throughout Perry County.  Starrett says a total of 28 vehicles were stopped and a home was raided at 109 Broad Street in Glenford.  Lt. Starrett says 9 people were arrested and drugs were seized in the effort.  Officers confiscated 31 grams of meth, 20 grams of marijuana and 2 grams of heroin.  Starrett says they also confiscated a motor vehicle and 280 dollars in cash.  The names of those arrested won’t be released until they are formally charged
