The Zanesville Municipal Airport will see improvements thanks to federal funding.

US Senator Sherrod Brown announced that $150,000 has been awarded to the City of Zanesville by the US Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration.

The funds will be used to replace the visual guidance system and rehabilitate the runway at the airport.

He added it will also enhance the capacity of the Zanesville Municipal Airport.
