The early morning storms that rumbled through Zanesville and other parts of southeastern Ohio caused some power outages early Wednesday morning. American Electric Power says at its peak there were 4057 customers in the dark in Muskingum County and 1414 in Perry County. The power disruption also knocked off air Whiz T-V, A-M 1240 Radio, Z-92 and Highway 103 The outages occurred just before 6:30 a.m. A-E-P told Whiz News that it was a transmission problem with two sub-stations. At 9:45 a.m. Wednesday power was restored to all customers.
