Hayley Gregory led the charge for John Glenn in a three-set win over Philo.  Gregory totaled 25 assists to go along with two aces.  Amy Evans paced Philo with 10 assists.

West M kept its momentum rolling with a straight set win over New Lexington.  The McKenzie sisters again set the pace for the Tornadoes, with Dylana finishing with 15 kills and Dakota with 10.  Each recorded an ace in the win.

Maci Meadows added 10 kills for West M, with Abbi Brock throwing in 17 assists.  Alison Hazen had a solid night as well, with 15 assists and five aces.

River View improves to 10-7 overall with a three-set win over ECOL-foe Meadowbrook.  Amanda Weatherwax and Caley Conkling did plenty of damage at the net for the Black Bears.  Weatherwax totaled 13 kills, Conkling 11 in the win.  Jessie Gibson assisted 26 times.

Girls Soccer

Tri-Valley 2 – West Muskingum 1

It was another exciting matchup between these two teams.  Like their first meeting earlier in the season, this one came down to the closing minutes.  Kyrie Bumpus notched Tri-Valley’s first goal of the night in the first half, but it took a score from Abby Nader with two minutes to play in the match to clinch the big MVL win.

Philo 3 – John Glenn 2

The Electrics come back from a 2-0 deficit to pick up a big 3-2 victory over John Glenn.  Amelia Bartenschlag, Amber Moore, and Karly Burns all find the back of the net in the win.

Morgan 1 – Maysville 1

Wooster Triway 1 – Ridgewood 0

West Holmes 3 – Coshocton 1

River View 0 – Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary 1

Boys Soccer

Rosecrans 1 – Maysville 5

After jumping in front off an early free kick, Rosecrans was unable to close out their rivals to the south, falling 5-1 to Maysville.  The Panthers evened the score right before half when Jacob Waltemire scored on a fast break.  In the second half, the Panthers really put the pressure on, even though the Bishops did have their shots.

Rosecrans missed a penalty kick in the second half en route to the defeat.  Jacob Waltemire picked up a hat trick in the win.
