Z-ville Man Sentenced For Robberies

A Zanesville man was sentenced to prison today for a string of robberies. In January 32-year-old Robert Angler plead guilty to 17 charges including breaking and entering, theft, criminal damaging, and misuse of a credit card. Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill issued a six year prison sentence and ordered Angler to pay restitution. Zanesville Police says Angler and another man were suspected of breaking into Terry’s Tavern, Blue Front Café, Hilltop Florist, a house on Layfayette Street and several cars in October of 2010.
