The 22-year old man suspected of leaving the state with a Zanesville High School student was indicted Wednesday.

According to Assistant  Muskingum County Prosecutor Bob Smith, a grand jury indicted Michael Wutzler II on two felony charges of interference with custody. Smith said Wutlzer will likely be arraigned next Wednesday morning.

He’s accused of traveling to South Carolina with 14-year old Christina Ford. Ford’s father reported her missing when she did not return home from school on Tuesday September 22nd.

Wutzler and Ford turned themselves into Zanesville Police two days later, according to Detective Randy Ritchason. Police arrested the two immediately. Ford was taken to the Muskingum County Juvenile Detention Center, and Wutlzer was taken to the Zanesville City Jail where he’s being held on a $10,000 bond.
