Corn Maze Offers Family Fun

Local News

A huge corn maze off Adamsville Road is challenging residents not to get lost.

This is the opening weekend of the McDonald’s Greenhouse Corn Maze.

“This year’s theme is ‘Old McDonald’s Farm E-I-E-I-O’ and there is a barn and a silo and the design is five acres and it is a lot of fun,” says Susan McDonald the owner of McDonald’s Greenhouse.

Besides the corn maze, there is also a petting zoo, hay rides and acres of pumpkins. McDonald says the corn maze is very safe for parents with children and it is stroller and wheelchair accessible. No matter how long it takes to find the finish line, maze goers say the fun is in spending time with family.

“Well it took us about 25 minutes, we ran into a couple of dead ends, but that is what makes it fun,”laughs Jerry James.

The maze will be open every weekend until November 1st. Admission is five dollars a person and kids under two get in free. To schedule large groups or find out more information call (740) 452-4858 or go to their website:
