Bowling Tournament Offers $1,000

There is a $1,000 in scholarship money up for grabs at Sunrise Bowl on East Pike.

Today is the second day of Sunrise Bowl’s 1st Annual Scholarship Tournament. Any student K- 12 can enter for $5 and win up to $500 in scholarship money. Each student bowls two games of regular bowling and Wii bowling. The scores are averaged to find a winner. Sunrise Bowl says so far only eight kids have entered the competition so there is still a good chance for local kids to drop by and win the scholarship money. There are also prize bags for the first 100 kids that enter.

Sunrise Bowl is putting on the tournament in connection with the Muskingum County Community Foundation. Tomorrow is the last day for the scholarship tournament and it will run from 10 am til 2 pm.

Prizes are as follows:
$500 1st Place- Bowl & Wii Scores Averaged
$300 2nd Place- Bowl & Wii Scores Averaged
$100 1st Place- Highest Wii Score Bowled
$100 1st Place- Highest Traditional Score
